A typical day for me starts with getting to the office early, grabbing some coffee and planning my day. I enjoy strategizing design for large enterprise systems, creating prototypes and testing usability. Outside of the office I enjoy concerts, University of Nebraska ahletic events, wrangling our two boys and going to the gym.

  • Aviture | Designer November 2014-Current I work with stakeholders, developers, quality assurance to reach business goals and understand user needs. A typical day for me might include; creating wireframes/ mockups, making font choices, icons and a bunch of communication. In the last year I have given talks about Human Centered Design at two conferences.
  • Nelnet | UX Designer April 2014- November 2014 Worked with business analysts and other designers to solve payment workflow challenges.
  • Gallup, Inc. | UX Designer July 2010- April 2014 Gathered and strategized solutions with key stakeholders. Designed site maps, wireframes and user experience for Gallup’s practice applications. Pitched and presented graphic solutions to stakeholder challenges. Worked with backend developers to maintain user experience.
  • Gallup, Inc. | Print Designer September 2007- July 2010 Created brochures, custom proposals and other materials. Designed letterhead, program and posters for Henry Doorly Zoo's Zoofari 2009.
